By default, Kahootz is delivered through UK-sovereign infrastructure, supporting UK data residency and sovereignty requirements. For international or project-specific needs, it can also be delivered through local data centres or a sovereign partner-managed service, with the deployment model aligned to the programme’s data residency, sovereignty and assurance requirements.

Independent security standards
Kahootz is certified to ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus and regularly tested by security specialists to CHECK standards. All Kahootz staff are screened to a minimum of BS 7858, with enhanced levels of security clearance required for roles with additional responsibilities or access.
Kahootz supports UK MOD Secure by Design principles and can help programmes address assurance requirements associated with the Defence Cyber Security Model and DEFSTAN 05-138.

Kahootz is registered on the JOSCAR supplier accreditation register and is available through the UK Government’s G-Cloud framework.
