Congratulations to the FutureNHS Collaboration Platform Team for onboarding and supporting over 200,000 users. By pro-actively empowering users and encouraging collaborations across the health and social care sector, their platform is an excellent example of deploying and using Kahootz collaboration software at scale.
With over 2,500 online workspaces and communities, the FutureNHS Collaboration Platform is now central to how England’s National Health Service (NHS) enables their stakeholders across organisations, professions and geographies to connect, teamwork and share knowledge.
“The platform has been a vital tool in supporting teams across the system with the response to the pandemic and now into recovery; building collective knowledge, innovation and creativity.” – Alice Montgomery-Reed, Senior Account and Communications Manager, FutureNHS Collaboration Platform at NHS England and Improvement.
Coming together during and after a time of crisis
Essentially, user numbers tripled during the initial 18 months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Never, in recent history, has it been more critical for health and social care organisations to come together to share knowledge, learn from each other and collectively design and deliver new support services. Kahootz is proud to have played its part by providing the cloud collaboration software that underpins the FutureNHS Collaboration Platform and the UK Government’s battle against the pandemic.
The FutureNHS platform continues to provide crucial support for the COVID-19 recovery phase. Many of the online communities developed during the pandemic continue to evolve and grow. One great example is AnalystX – a FutureNHS online workspace ‘to connect and empower the data and analytics community’ that now has a membership exceeding 16,000.
“We are on a course to show how the collective brainpower across health and care analytical teams can be harnessed as a force of good! We transcend organisational boundaries and old parochial ways of working.” – Sukhmeet Panesar Deputy Director, Data, Analytics and Intelligence Services NHS England and Improvement
It’s great to learn that AnalystX and the FutureNHS Collaboration Platform are now seen as key enablers for implementing the NHS Long Term Plan. We look forward to supporting the FutureNHS Collaboration Platform Team as they on-board their next 200,000 users.
