Rationale

Students were presented to by the local Warrnambool mental health organization, ASPIRE, for a 50 min session. This was organized by the school nurse. Students were exposed to the mental health issues they may currently experience or will experience in future years. From this the idea of building something positive from various issues that confront students in their lives. In English, students came up with three possible topics to develop further - The Power of the Smile, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life and Don't Worry Be Happy.

These topics were researched further in English, Humanities and then animated with Kahootz in ICT classes. This also complemented our "You Can Do It" program.
