Rationale
| |
Working individually, students were given the brief of creating a "Mini Movie" of no longer than four minutes in either the Science Fiction or Fantasy genre.
All movies had to incorporate work using the following programs - Kahootz, istopmotion, Garageband and imovie.

Learning Outcomes for Student Creator
| |
| |
The opportunity to use hardware and software not available to them back in school.
The chance to use a variety of multimedia to create a finished project.
The ability to develop critical thinking skills and exercise fitness for purpose when deciding on the content for and how to edit their films.
The chance to explore two different types of animation.
| |
Collaborative Potential
| |
| |
The original Kahootz Xpressions could be re-edited by another student. The addition of different music and editing style could result in a very different film being created.
Students could begin with one of the pieces of music created and then design a Kahootz Xpression based on what they feel would be an appropriate visual accompaniment to the music.
