Rationale
| |
This unit integrates aspects across the Key Learning Areas of Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE) and Technology.
Our class this term has been talking and looking at Australia. We are completing a pamphlet in groups about an aspect of
Australia that we are interested in. The introduction of Kahootz has meant that we have worked in pairs to make a world
that reflects a typically Australian scene. We have used this topic to teach the various concepts and skills you need to
make Kahootz work. I have made a rubric that they are continually updating as their skills increase. When they are finished
I intend to upload the worlds onto the site or at least some of them. I thought they would be of interest to many overseas children.

| |
| |

| |

To make their Xpression (pairs). |
To produce a pamphlet for tourists (2 – 4). |
Other schools – Is this a realistic/stylized presentation of an Oz environment? |
