Rationale
| |
To consolidate the learning of the basic digestive system.
Student Tasks
| |
| |
We had researched and understood the basics of the digestive system and the importance of eating healthy food.
I had invited a doctor to give an information session and answer questions. We had read Inside the Human Body – Magic School Bus series.
The students then wrote an imaginative /factual story on the Diary of a Hamburger. The story had to include at least 5 facts. I then introduced
Kahootz and set up the idea of re-creating their own digestive system story using the Kahootz tools etc. The students worked in pairs. The best
part was they could add the ‘fart’ sound effects!!!!, a sure winner.
