One Essential is World Futures. This involves looking at the world around us. By using photos of the school
environments students share their environment and learn about another. This unit involved developing camera skills and
Kahootz skills. Students were able to show how far these skills had developed from the beginning of the year.

Student Tasks

| |
|
Students were told of our twinning with Nakara. They were asked to photograph areas of their own school they would like to share with Nakara P.S in Darwin.
They were asked to make an Xpression and feature the areas they wanted to share.
 |
Students took photos of the school and saved them into
their folders for use in the Xpressions. |
 |
 |
They looked at samples from the Kahootz websites and then were
encouraged to use the following features- sound, linking, animation, swatching and keypoints. |
